Bybane (light rail)

Runs from the airport to the city centre. Stop is right outside the terminal (ground floor) and there is only 1 line. Tickets for the Light Rail can be bought using the app “Skyss Billett”, at the ticket machine at Light Rail stop, or at the ticket machine at the baggage claim area (credit cards will be accepted).

Takes about 40 minutes to the centre.

Airport Bus

The Airport Express bus stops at the left hand side just outside the main terminal building (upper floor). In the city centre the bus stops at Bergen Bus Station, Festplassen and Bryggen, with departures every 10 minutes during the busiest parts of the day.

The bus drives an express route that only takes 20 minutes to the centre.
